After securing what should prove to be a resume-building road win over the No. 23 Purdue Boilermakers over the weekend, the Texas Longhorns are back in Austin to host California Baptist.
The Lancers, like the Longhorns, enter the evening owning an unblemished record at 2-0 after outscoring their first two opponents by a combined margin of 79 points, courtesy of a balanced offensive unit, as five contributors are currently averaging double figures in the scoring column.
Of course, the Longhorns sheer talent level will serve as a considerable uptick in competition from what the Lancers have seen thus far, but in that same light, a key test for Texas will be to not play down to its competition after topping a ranked Purdue squad just days ago.
Tip-off between the Longhorns and Lancers is set for 7:00 p.m. CT on Longhorn Network.
