The Big 12 slate is just a few days young, but it already feels as if the Texas Longhorns are facing a must-win matchup on Saturday evening with the Kansas State Wildcats coming to the Frank Erwin Center.
After enjoying their best non-conference effort of the Shaka Smart era, compiling a 10-2 record, Texas has dropped each of its first two conference outings against Baylor and Oklahoma. K-State’s outlook is even more unwelcoming, as the Wildcats are now 7-7 overall after dropping each of their first two Big 12 appearances, as well.
On Saturday evening though, one of these two will finally steal their first conference win.
Tip-off between the Longhorns and Wildcats is set for 7 p.m. CT on Longhorn Network.
