No. 13 Texas vs. Kansas State: Game thread

The Longhorns are looking to snap a three-game skid against a K-State squad that hasn’t won in 2021.

NCAA Basketball: Texas at Kansas State Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

In hopes of snapping out of a slump that’s seen Shaka Smart’s squad drop three straight contests and four of their last five overall, the No. 13 Texas Longhorns are on the road to meet the struggling Kansas State Wildcats.

While Texas has suffered a losing streak of its own as of late, K-State has been in a tailspin since the start of the new year, dropping 10 straight to fall to 5-15 overall. It could go without saying that if there’s ever a chance for Texas to right some of its recent wrongs and build some much-needed momentum as we near March Madness, it’s tonight.

Tip-off between Texas and K-State is set for 7 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
