6 Texas opens NCAA Tournament with win over 11 Virginia Tech: Celebration thread

In Chris Beard’s first season, the Horns advance past the first round of the big dance for the first time since 2014.

The 6 Texas Longhorns are still dancing, advancing to the Round of 32 with a 81-73 win over the 11 Virginia Tech Hokies.

With the win, they’ll move on to meet the 3 Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday.

This marks the first time Texas has secured an NCAA Tournament win since 2014.
