This is probably your final Gresham update on the day, as we won't know the extent of the tear for a while yet. He'll be out a couple weeks at a minimum. Depending on the extent of the tear, perhaps more.

It's a pretty simple cartilage tear inside the knee. They'll go in and repair (or more likely remove) the piece and it will take about two weeks. There's an infinite number of comps in the pros. It's as simple an injury as there is with the knee.

He was in street clothes but not on crutches and seemed to be walking fine. He has had soreness in this knee before. There will be a more thorough evaluation later today, but at this point, everything else is just speculation and Internet rumor.
