Texas Longhorns football fans looking for places to watch the Texas versus New Mexico State season opener on the Longhorn Network will have a handful of options at bars and restaurants around Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, New York City, and Washington D.C, as well as a few other locations.
With the recent addition of Charter, there may be some more bars in Rockwall, Duncanville, and Spring that have access to the network, but it's virtually impossible to track those developments, so if anyone knows of any more locations, we will be happy to add them to the list. And many thanks to all of those community members who helped add to this list already.
For all those other locations, it may be worthwhile to contact the local Texas Exes chapter to see if there are any watch parties organized through them. As well as calling ahead anywhere you plan on going to ensure availability (especially with the Texas Exes locations, as they may not have LHN access). And show up early, be loud, and wear orange. As for staying late? Well, probably best to do it responsibly.
