Texas Longhorns set spring game for April 19

The Orange-White scrimmage will make the end of Charlie Strong's first spring as head coach.

The Texas Longhorns coaching staff will take some extra time to work on strength and conditioning with players, ending spring practice on April 19 with the annual Orange-White game.

Set for a 1 p.m. kick, the game will be televised on the Longhorn Network, as it has been in years past.

Spring practice is set to begin on March 18, right after the Texas spring break. Former head coach Mack Brown had elected to start spring practice earlier and have it split up by the break, but Charlie Strong clearly has different ideas.
