The University of Texas will introduce Tom Herman as the Longhorns new head coach on Sunday with a 5:00 p.m. conference. In attendance alongside the media masses will be former Texas head coach Mack Brown, who bolstered the football program throughout the 2000s and capped an undefeated 2005 season with a National Championship victory over the USC Trojans.

Herman had this to say in a statement following the school’s announcement that he was hired as the 30th head coach in Texas history.
"The opportunity to come back to Texas is a dream come true for me and my family, and I can't thank President Fenves and Mike Perrin enough for providing me with this incredible opportunity. Longhorn football has been – and always will be – a national power, winning and playing for national championships with great pride and passion, supported by an unbelievable fan base."
