Texas Longhorns linebacker Malik Jefferson made an appearance on the Longhorn Network to talk about his upcoming sophomore season and the 'Horns 2016 recruiting class.
A standout member of the 'Horns 2015 class, Jefferson said the incoming freshmen have a chance to make an impact right away.
"We wanted kids to know this is the spot for you to be at." he said. "If you see our class last year, we've obviously shown that we can play, because seven of us were on the field at one point. I think it's very exciting and I think these kids need to be very appreciative of the opportunity they're about to get."
To improve on his outstanding first season, Jefferson said he'll have to study himself, get in the film room and the weight room to prepare for the future.
