Per usual, the spring game will take place at Darrell K Royal—Texas Memorial Stadium and will be aired on Longhorn Network, which will also include pre and post game shows.
The game will also be available live on 104.9 The Horn and live streaming will be available on TexasSports.com.
April’s Orange-White game will provide the masses with their first opportunity to see the new-look Longhorns under Tom Herman and his staff’s guidance, which the first-year head coach has repeatedly insisted will be an upgraded product from 2016. And similar to last spring, although the focus is upon the team’s progression as a unit, expect the quarterback battle between sophomore-to-be and 2016 starter Shane Buechele and early enrollee freshman Sam Ehlinger to be placed under a microscope.
In any case, football is almost back, folks, and that’s what matters.
