After serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at California in 2016, Adam Potts will be fulfilling the same role in Austin with Yancy McKnight and the Texas Longhorns.

While in Berkeley, Potts worked with the Bears’ football program, as well as with the men’s and women’s golf teams and the women’s rowing team. Before that, Potts spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons in the Big 12 with Iowa State, where he developed and implemented plyometric resistance training and flexibility programs for the Cyclones’ secondary unit, along with assisting with other position groups.

Potts has also served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Lamar, UTSA and Missouri State.

He now brings his years of experience to Austin as an assistant under McKnight.
