An already thin Texas Longhorns defensive front just lost another big body, as redshirt freshman Chris Daniels will transfer from the program, according to multiple reports.

A former four-star recruit, Daniels was a member of Charlie Strong’s 2016 class.
Daniels becomes the third defensive lineman to leave the program within the last several months, as Jordan Elliott and Marcel Southall each transferred in May, as well.
Despite shedding an exceptional amount of weight to meet the physical demands Herman and Todd Orlando wanted to see from contributors in the trenches, Daniels is yet to see the field under the new coaching staff this season.
