The Oklahoma State Cowboys built a big first half lead, and managed to hold off a late game push from the Texas Longhorns to come away with a 38-35 win in Stillwater.
The Cowboys put up 378 yards in the first half, including a monster 260-yard first quarter and built a 31-14 halftime lead. Texas managed to hold Oklahoma State to just seven points in the second half. Unfortunately for Texas fans, those seven points came with 5:44 left in the game to extend the lead back to two scores.
Texas managed to respond with late touchdown, but could not convert the onside kick and one first down later the Cowboys managed to run out the clock.
