After dropping back-to-back games against Oklahoma State and West Virginia, the Texas Longhorns are back in action tonight for a road showdown with the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Similarly, the Red Raiders (5-4, 3-3) have come up short in each of their two previous appearances, falling to Iowa State and then Oklahoma. Tonight, not only will the two teams be aiming to snap respective skids, but Texas (6-3, 4-2) will be fighting to keep its Big 12 title hopes alive, while Texas Tech is just one win away from reaching bowl eligibility.
The road team has won in each of the previous four meetings between Texas and Texas Tech. Can the Longhorns keep that streak alive this evening?
If the streak continues, Texas will have to extend it without junior wide receiver Collin Johnson (knee) and junior safety Brandon Jones (ankle).
The Longhorns are Red Raiders will square off at 6:30 p.m. Central. The game will be televised on FOX.
This is your game thread.
