In spite of blowing a huge lead, the Texas Longhorns kept their hopes of a conference championship alive with a win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Sam Ehlinger was once again spectacular and Lil’Joran Humphrey had a monster game and benefitted from the absence of the injured Collin Johnson (3:04).

Texas needs some help in order to make it into the conference title game, but first they must take on the Iowa State Cyclones (19:17). Can the Texas defense get it together to shut down the Cyclones’ high-powered weaponry?

The basketball season is in full swing, as the men’s team started their season 3-0 (32:26) and the women one game behind at 2-0 after crusiing to open the season (36:44). And Gerald and Kyle discuss a viewer Tweet, breaking down where five-star target Bru McCoy fits into the Texas recruiting class (39:04).

Finally, they close the show out with Bang the Drum (44:54), where Kyle celebrates the goofy events of the weekend and Gerald looks at Texas’s recent history at receiver.
