After the Texas Longhorns lost to the Maryland Terrapins to open the season, the players and coaches said their goals of competing for the Big 12 championship was still intact. 11 games later and a win over the Kansas Jayhawks puts them in the Big 12 title game.

There are still lingering questions about the team’s health, headlined by quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who left the win over the Iowa State Cyclones with a shoulder injury. Shane Buechele came in to close out the game, but the junior quarterback can only compete in two more games if he wishes to preserve his redshirt this season.

The Jayhawks are in a period of change currently, after replacing former head coach David Beatty with former LSU — and National Championship winning — coach Les Miles. So what will the Jayhawks look like on Senior Night coming off of three-consecutive conference losses?

Texas head coach Tom Herman addresses the media heading in his weekly press conference ahead of a must-win game. the press conference will be available on Longhorn Network and TexasSports.com.
