It wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win.
In what was largely a defense-dominated showing for both teams, it was the Texas Longhorns offense that provided a bit more firepower, leading to a 24-17 win over the Kansas Jayhawks to cap the regular season.
The Longhorns now finish the regular season at 9-3 (7-2) and will head to the Big 12 Championship game next Saturday, where they’ll await the winner of the Oklahoma-West Virginia game.
