On Monday afternoon during his weekly press conference, Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman provided injury updates for a number of Longhorns who went down with ailments in Texas’ 42-41 loss to West Virginia.

Senior defensive end Breckyn Hager, who Herman said on Sunday had been diagnosed with a dislocated elbow, is questionable to return to the field on Saturday against Texas Tech.

Sophomore defensive end Marqez Bimage suffered a similar injury on Saturday, which Herman later said was diagnosed as a dislocated shoulder. Herman said Bimage will be out.

In the defensive backfield, junior safety Brandon Jones, is still working to return from the ankle injury the kept him out against West Virginia, but Herman said “if we played today, he would not play.”

Senior cornerback and fellow starter Davante Davis essentially missed the West Virginia game as well, as he left on just the second play from scrimmage with what was later determined to be a sprained shoulder and neck. He’s questionable for the Texas Tech game
