The Longhorn Republic gets ready for the Red Raiders

We are five weeks away from the season, and this week Kyle and Gerald have the pleasure of welcoming Zach Mason, managing editor of Viva the Matadors, to the show to preview the Texas Tech Red Raiders (26:00).

Kyle and Gerald also breakdown what the loss of Demarco Boyd means to the defense (3:53), look at whether Collin Johnson, Patrick Vahe, Kris Boyd and Gary Johnson have a shot to win end of the year awards (9:21), and break down the latest committments to the 2019 recruiting class (20:16).

Finally, Gerald and Kyle close the show out by honoring Big Bertha as they bang the drum (51:07). Kyle laments the lack of player development in years past, while Gerald celebrates the team’s offseason workout success.
