The last time TCU visited Darrell K Royal—Texas Memorial Stadium, the end result was a 31-9 Horned Frogs win that effectively marked the end of the Charlie Strong era in Austin.
Although the coach was new, last season’s result was fairly similar, as TCU cruised to a 24-7 win to mark the Horned Frogs’ fourth consecutive victory over Texas, with TCU boasting a 153-33 scoring edge through that span.
This time around, though, despite Texas’ 1-1 start and TCU currently sitting at No. 15 nationally, the Longhorns are favored with a 56.2 percent chance to snap the Horned Frogs recent string of success against the Horns, per ESPN’s FPI.
The Longhorns own the all-time series edge, 62-25-1.
