The Texas Longhorns managed to build on the momentum coming off of their win over USC and put together a 31-16 win over the TCU Horned Frogs. This week, the Longhorns travel to Manhattan, where they haven’t won a game in five trips.
Consistency has been the name of the game for Texas offensively, and specifically from quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who has passed for more than 200 yards in all four contests this year. With running back Tre Watson continuing to produce enough on the ground and the increased utilization of Daniel Young and Keontay Ingram, Texas’s ground game is doing its part to allow a balanced attack on offense.
If Texas hopes to snap a road losing streak that stretches back a decade, they must continue that level of play.
Texas head coach Tom Herman is set to address the media on Monday for his weekly press conference.
"We're moving on... I told us team yesterday that they're not going to spot us seven points in Manhattan because we beat TCU." Tom Herman says that the results from Saturday are inconsequential to next weekend. #HookEm

There are a number of players expected to practice on Tuesday, including WR Brennan Eagles, RB Keaontay Ingram, LB/S DeMarvion Overshown, and C Zach Shackelford, but won't know the status of those players and their availability for Saturday until later in the week.
