After falling seven points short against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Showdown, the Texas Longhorns are expected to bounce back next weekend with the Kansas Jayhawks in town, as Texas has opened as a 21.5-point favorite over the Jayhawks, per Circa Sports.

ESPN also lists the Longhorns as a 21.5-point favorite.
Kansas’ most recent outing also resulted in a loss at the hands of the Sooners, as before enjoying a bye week, the Jayhawks fell to Oklahoma, 45-20, marking their third-straight loss.
Last season, the Longhorns beat the Jayhawks in Lawrence by just one score, 24-17.
Kickoff between Texas and Kansas is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Longhorn Network.
