After dropping two of their last three outings, the Texas Longhorns (5-3, 3-2) are set for an ideal opportunity to re-establish some much-needed momentum on Saturday afternoon with the No. 16 Kansas State Wildcats (6-2, 3-2) coming to Austin.
With a win, Texas would not only notch its first ranked victory of the season after falling to both No. 6 LSU and No. 6 Oklahoma, but the Horns would become bowl eligible for the third time in as many seasons under head coach Tom Herman. And more notably, Texas’ Big 12 title aspirations will remain alive and well.
In short, there’s quite a bit on the line for the Longhorns today.
Kickoff between Texas and K-State is set fr 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
