Last Friday, the Texas Longhorns suited up in full pads for the first time this spring and as you could guess, it was eventful and exciting.
“We’re excited to have the pads on,” Texas head coach Tom Herman told the media last Friday. “Us coaches, we were like kids on Christmas Eve last night. It was a little hard to sleep because we were so excited to get out here and see these guys run around and play real football.”
Per usual, the Longhorns creative department documented fun and festivities, capturing sights such as receivers Bru McCoy and Brennan Eagles refusing to go down.

The skill position players weren’t the only ones getting in on the fun, though, as Texas took the cameras to the trenches, as well.

Following a brief hiatus for spring break, the Longhorns will be back in action and back on the field on Monday.
The Orange-White spring game is set for April 13 at 6:30 p.m. Central.
