Following a scoreless first quarter, the Texas Longhorns offense finally began to string fairly consistent scoring drives together throughout the next two quarters, while Chris Ash’s defense put forth its most notable performance of Texas’ Big 12 slate thus far.
Some stagnant offense and a Sam Ehlinger interception made things a bit more interesting than expected late, but nevertheless, Texas notched the win it desperately needed, improving to 3-2 (2-2) behind a 27-16 win over the Baylor Bears (1-2, 1-2).
