For the first time since 2004, the No. 15 Texas Longhorns are in Fayetteville for a meeting with the Arkansas Razorbacks. This time around, they’ll take the field in front Arkansas’ first sold-out crowd since 2017 to mark the first true, hostile road test of the Steve Sarkisian era.

In the latest addition of the old SWC rivalry and an early glimpse at the rivalry that will continue upon Texas’ arrival in the SEC in the coming seasons, Texas and Arkansas each enter at 1-0. A strong second half allowed Texas to handle No. 23 Louisiana, 38-18, and while Arkansas won with a similar 38-17 outcome over Rice, the Razorbacks’ victory wasn’t nearly as comfortable after entering the fourth quarter all tied at 17.

Texas enters the matchup as a 7-point favorite. A full game preview can be found here.

Kickoff between the Longhorns and Razorbacks is set for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
