No NFL linebacker is tougher on opposing QBs than former Texas Longhorn Jordan Hicks

When Hicks gets on the field, quarterback ratings take a dive.

Jordan Hicks may have struggled with injuries during his time with the Texas Longhorns, but he’s now fully established in the NFL and making his presence felt with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Just look at this stat from Pro Football Focus, which shows what opposing quarterback ratings look like when Hicks is on the field.

As you can see, the number for Hicks is more than 20 points lower than second-highest on the list, Tennessee’s Wesley Woodyard, and more than 30 points lower than fourth place Vontaze Burfict.

Hicks finished last season with five interceptions, 85 tackles, one sack and 27 assists, and the 24-year-old will look to build on that during his fourth season in the league.
