There's just more than two weeks until Mesquite Poteet linebacker Malik Jefferson chooses his college and the Texas Longhorns will be one of the final schools to receive a visit from the five-star prospect:
ATX this weekend #LetsRide

The 6'3, 215-pounder took his last official visit to Texas A&M in the middle of November and had traveled to Baton Rouge the week prior. He's also been expected to set up a visit to UCLA before he makes his final decision.
An in-home visit with Texas head coach Charlie Strong should also happen in the near future.
Jefferson will be part of a big visit weekend, which will include Aledo wide receiver Ryan Newsome and Indiana linebacker Darren Kirkland, among others.
After the Longhorns surged in his 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions over the summer, three of the last four have come in for Texas A&M, the school that is still perceived as the biggest threat to Texas even though the defense was abysmal this season and the defensive coordinator was fired.
