After picking up an offer early Sunday morning, junior college kicker Joshua Rowland has committed to the Texas Longhorns.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. product was on campus over the weekend for an official visit and once the ‘Horns added an offer to a list that consisted of UTSA and a handful of FCS schools, it didn’t take long for Rowland to pull the trigger.
As a sophomore, Rowland made 9-of-12 field goals and 32-of-33 extra points this season to follow up a freshman campaign in which he earned second-team NJCAA All-American honors.
"He was an All-American kicker last year who was solid again this year," Mississippi Gulf Coast coach Chad Huff said. "He's a great kicker who was always steady. He helped us in special teams more than you can imagine."
