In the wake of the the Texas Longhorns missing on five-star offensive tackle Walker Little, Tom Herman and his staff have extended an offer to three-star tackle Derek Kerstetter.

The San Antonio Reagan product committed to Oklahoma State in June and was offered by Herman and his staff at Houston. A U.S. Army All-American, Kerstetter also holds offers from Texas Tech, Kansas and Colorado State. Considering Texas is currently without a 2017 offensive lineman commit, expect the staff to prioritize Kerstetter in pursuit of a flip.
A 6’5, 280-pound prospect, Kerstetter ranks as the nation’s No. 89 offensive tackle and the No. 134 player in Texas.
