Three-star Texas Longhorns tight end target and former Tennessee commit Chase Rogers has set an official visit to the 40 Acres.

The Bay Saint Louis (Miss.) product committed to Tennessee in March, but decommitted on November 13 — the day after his unofficial visit to Texas. Rogers doesn’t yet hold an offer, but considering his apparent interest in the program and the emphasis Tom Herman and his staff have placed on landing a tight end, especially as Herman seeks to salvage the 2017 class, the offer likely comes by the time Rogers concludes his official visit.
At 6’3, 238 pounds, Rogers holds 14 offers, which includes Ole Miss, Mississippi State and California.
Rogers ranks as the nation’s No. 29 tight end and the No. 11 player in Mississippi.
