A 6’5, 261-pound prospect out of Katy, Horry has been committed to Texas A&M since June. Herman and his staff recruited Horry while at Houston and now that the staff is making the tight end position a priority with the 2017 class amid a crucial period, it’s not surprising they did the same at Texas. The previous Texas staff didn’t pursue Horry.
Horry ranks as the nation’s No. 34 tight end and the No. 102 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
