When a recruit as highly talented as five-star outside linebacker Dylan Moses visits a college campus, it would be wise for the staff and program to leave a lasting impression. The Texas Longhorns accomplished that on Saturday when Moses took an unofficial visit to the Forty Acres.
Prior to his visit, Moses tweeted that he couldn't wait to see one of his "favorite college head coaches." That, along with Moses' picture in a Texas jersey while holding the Heisman Trophy and saying "Texas will always be in the mix," should be reason to believe this isn't necessarily a two-horse race between Alabama and LSU.
He also spent some time with star Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson:
I like this kid hope the best, honestly he deserves it ✊ but would love to pass it on to you @TheDylan1Moses pic.twitter.com/BH3nmgWyF5

And, at the end of it all, Moses declared the Longhorns his leader over the Crimson Tide.
Moses, an IMG Academy product, ranks as the nation's No. 2 overall recruit and No. 1 outside linebacker, per 247Sports Composite. Even if Texas ultimately falls short in Moses' recruitment, it's worth noting that elite recruits are no longer counting Texas out when SEC powers are in the mix. And if Texas were to outlast Alabama and LSU, among others, Strong's recruiting success would be headlined by one of the most coveted recruits in Texas football history.
