As reported, the nation's No. 8 prospect and No. 2 outside linebacker was initially scheduled to take an unofficial visit to Ohio State, which was scheduled for July 22, according to Browning's 247Sports profile. Rather, the Longhorns will play host to one of the nation's most coveted talents. Obviously, this could be utilized as an opportunity for the Texas staff to try and persuade the Kennedale product that Austin is the place for him after momentum has appeared to be in Ohio State's favor as of late.
Per the Horns247 report, Texas commits Kobe Boyce and Sam Ehlinger will be in attendance, as will 2018 athlete Tyrick James and 2018 tight end Kenden Jones. Boyce has reportedly been wavering with plans to visit Oklahoma and Alabama looming, so the camp will be important for reassuring his pledge, as well.
The Longhorns currently lead in Browning's Crystal Ball.
