Per his update, the schools Curl will be choosing from are Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, TCU, Ole Miss and Arkansas.
For the ‘Horns, the advanced decision date essentially means the ‘Horns are out of the mix. Aside from an in-home visit or a surprise visit to campus, Curl won’t visit with Texas before his commitment next week, which is also slated to come the day before his Jan. 20 visit to Arkansas.
Texas offered Curl on Dec. 7.
The favorite to land the Muskogee (Okla.) product are the in-state Sooners, who will also receive an official visit tomorrow, Jan. 13.
Curl ranks as the nation’s No. 41 athlete and the No. 10 player in Oklahoma, per 247Sports Composite.
