After backing out of his long-time commitment to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish last week, Winter Park (Fla.) wide receiver Jordan Pouncey included the Texas Longhorns in his New Years Day top four, along with Miami, Tennessee and the Irish.

A three-star prospect, Pouncey added a Texas offer on Dec. 20, just a day after finally picking up a Miami offer following a pair of offseason unofficial visits. Now, headlining a collection of 47 offers including Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Georgia, the ‘Horns and Canes are among the final four Pouncey will decide between, which is a decision that may not happen until National Signing Day.

Throughout the month, Pouncey will be active taking official visits, as he’s slated to tour Miami on Jan. 13, Texas on Jan. 20 and then Tennessee on Jan. 27.

Evident by his history of visits with Miami, Pouncey has significant interest and the Canes are the convincing favorite to land the Florida native.

Pouncey ranks as the nation’s No. 107 wide receiver and the No. 98 player in Florida, per 247Sports Composite.
