3-star Colorado commit Chris Miller sets Texas OV

The Texas staff now appears to be seeking a flip from yet another Colorado commit.

According to a report from 247Sports, three-star Colorado commit Chris Miller will be on the 40 Acres for an official visit on Jan. 20.

Miller committed to the Buffaloes as a defensive back in June over a host over other Power 5 offers, but is being recruited by the Longhorns as a slot wide receiver, per the report. He doesn’t yet hold an offer, but that’s something to keep an eye on as Tom Herman and his staff inch towards signing day in hopes of rounding out a class that saw its share of bumps following Texas’ subpar season and Charlie Strong’s dismissal.

A Denton product, Miller is the high school teammate of fellow Colorado pledge and Longhorns offensive line priority, Grant Polley, and it’s possible that the two visit Austin together. This could be a case where Texas gets one or none of the Dallas area prospects.

Miller ranks as the the nation’s No. 46 athlete and the No. 86 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
