Four-star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle isn’t a name you’ll find on the Texas Longhorns lengthy junior day list, but the Houston Bellaire Episcopal product will be on the Forty Acres on Friday for an unofficial visit, according to 247Sports.

A rising prospect with 14 offers to date, along with Texas on January 25, Waddle has picked up offered from Wisconsin, Baylor, Oregon, Miami and Auburn in the past month, with invitations from Miami and Auburn coming just days ago. The explosive pass-catcher also holds offers from Florida State, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M, among others.

As far as his visit to Texas is concerned, Friday will mark his second trip to the Forty Acres, as he also unofficially visited last April while being recruiting by Charlie Strong’s staff.

Last season for Houston Episcopal, the 5’9.5, 175-pounder hauled in 48 receptions for 1,382 yards and 26 touchdowns, along with 277 yards and four scores on the ground and five more touchdowns as a returner.

Waddle ranks as the nation’s No. 190 player, No. 31 wide receiver and the No. 27 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
