4-star 2019 PG De’Vion Harmon set for Saturday visit to Texas

In addition to Kansas, the ‘Horns will host one of the nation’s premier 2019 prospects on Saturday.

While the No. 3-ranked Kansas Jayhawks are in Austin for Saturday’s meeting with the Texas Longhorns, so too will four-star Denton Guyer floor general De’Vion Harmon, who’s scheduled to unofficially visit Shaka Smart and the ‘Horns this weekend, according to multiple reports.

One of 2019’s premier prospects and point guards, the Dallas area product’s Saturday visit will mark his second trip to the Forty Acres after his first on November 12 ended with an offer.

Along with the Longhorns, Harmon also holds offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU and Tulsa. Similar to his Saturday visit scheduled to be his second unofficial visit to Texas, Harmon as also taken a pair of unofficial visits to SMU, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, so despite still being just a sophomore, his recruitment has seen some significant activity with the school already involved.

Another elusive lefty that can draw modest comparisons to the Longhorns latest commit, four-star point guard Matt Coleman, for reasons beyond simply being a Team USA member, expect Smart to place increased emphasis on the in-state product as his recruitment progresses.

At 6’0, 192 pounds, Harmon ranks as the nation’s No. 57 player, No. 7 point guard and the No. 4 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
