Rockdale athlete Jaqualyn Crawford is one of the top prospects in Texas and for now, Tom Herman’s Longhorns are among the 10 schools headlining Crawford’s recruitment.
Along with the Longhorns, Crawford also noted Auburn, Florida, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, SMU, TCU and Texas Tech, in no particular order.
A four-star talent, Crawford picked up a Texas offer in December and the ‘Horns bolstered their chances with the versatile prospect by impressing during his junior day visit last month.
Obviously, it’s still fairly early in his recruitment and much can change throughout the summer and his senior season, but Texas is among the more realistic options Crawford included in his top 10. Five of Crawford’s eight Crystal Ball projections currently favor Texas, with the other three going to TCU.
At 5’10, 170 pounds, Crawford ranks as the nation’s No. 306 player, No. 24 athlete and the No. 38 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
