It remains to be seen whether Shaka Smart will add another member or two to his 2017 class, but the ‘Horns head coach continues to remain active for future classes as 2018 Cleveland Holy Name combo guard Dwayne Cohill picked up a Texas offer on Wednesday night.
A four-star prospect, Cohill has already compiled 17 total offers with programs such as Ohio State, Northwestern, Penn State, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Xavier and Butler in the mix, among others. Ohio State, which offered last month, is currently considered the heavy favorite in Cohill’s recruitment.
As a junior for Holy Name, Cohill scored 549 points, averaging 22 points each time out, according to Cleveland.com.
At 6’2, 170 pounds, Cohill ranks as the nation’s No. 56 player, No. 2 combo guard and the No. 2 player in Ohio, per 247Sports Composite.
