The top-ranked 2018 prospect in Rhode Island continues to see his stock rise and on Monday, St. Andrews School small forward Cole Swider picked up an offer from Shaka Smart and the Texas Longhorns, per multiple reports.

A three-star recruit, Swider now holds 17 offers from a variety of prominent programs around the nation, including Villanova, UConn, Florida, Indiana, Wake Forest, Miami, Providence and Syracuse.

The Gators and Hoosiers offered just yesterday and less than 24 hours later, Texas followed up after Swider continues to impress on the spring AAU circuit.

As a junior, Swider was named the Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 26.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

At 6’7, 210 pounds, Swider ranks as the nation’s No. 138 player, No. 31 small forward and the No. 1 player in Rhode Island, per 247Sports Composite.
