Tom Herman’s relentless activity in the market for a tight end has now extended to the JUCO ranks with Dominick Wood-Anderson picking up a Texas Longhorns offer on Friday.

A 6’5, 245-pound prospect, Wood-Anderson is the nation’s No. 1 junior college tight end following his freshman season for Arizona Western College.
With Texas becoming the latest to pursue the JUCO product, Wood-Anderson now holds 17 offers from programs such as Alabama, Oregon, Auburn, TCU, Tennessee, Louisville and Ole Miss, among others.
With Wood-Anderson expecting to graduate from Arizona Western in December, he’ll likely become an early enrollee and whichever program he ultimately commits to. Texas will be able to sell him on the opportunity for immediate playing time, even in a class that may include one or both of two priority tight end targets in Mustapha Muhammad and Malcolm Epps.
A three-star prospect, Wood-Anderson ranks as the nation’s No. 15 JUCO prospect.
