Tom Herman and his staff continue to recruit the fertile football soil in The Sunshine State and Cambridge Christian School (Fla.) product Richard Gouraige becomes the latest to pick up an offer from the Texas Longhorns.

A 6’5, 271-pound prospect, Gouraige now becomes the ninth offensive tackle prospect Texas has offered this cycle and just one of six uncommitted offered options remaining. Additionally, he’s the 11th Florida native the ‘Horns have offered throughout the 2018 cycle and Texas has already struck gold once by flipping four-star wide receiver Justin Watkins from Florida State.
To date, Gouraige holds 35 offers including invitations Alabama, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Florida State, Miami and Michigan.
Currently considered a Gators lean, Gouraige is planning on announcing his commitment at the Under Armour All-America game.
Gouraige is ranked the nation’s No. 88 player, No. 10 offensive tackle and the No. 22 player in Florida, per 247Sports Composite.
