The four-star prospect now becomes the first outside linebacker in the 2019 class to pick up an offer from the Longhorns. Along with Texas, Brooks also holds offers from Oklahoma, LSU, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Texas A&M and TCU, among others.
The majority of Brooks high-major offers have flooded in throughout May as one of the fastest-rising targets in the state.
At 6’3, 200 pounds, Brooks ranks as the nation’s No. 78 player, No. 7 outside linebacker and the No. 11 player in Texas, per 247Sports.
