A three-star safety prospect out of Archibishop Rummel, Brule committed to Kansas on February 4 but also has a handful of major programs involved in his recruitment, such as Tennessee, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Memphis, Mississippi State and now, Texas.
The Longhorns became the latest to offer Brule after offering fellow Louisiana native and Jayhawk pledge Corione Harris on Wednesday evening.
To date, Brule holds 12 total offers.
At 6’1, 202 pounds, Brule ranks as the nation’s No. 560 player, No. 41 safety and the No. 27 player in Louisiana, per 247Sports Composite.
