The Longhorns became the first and only program to offer the local product last Thursday and with today’s commitment, Dicker becomes the second kicker to commit to Texas since Herman took over, joining JUCO transfer Joshua Rowland.
Although he doesn’t hold any other offers to date, Dicker did recently visit Arkansas and visited Oklahoma State in January, as well.
As a junior, Dicker connected on 10-of-14 field goals and 91-of-92 extra points after converting 10-of-11 field goals and 70-of-71 extra points as a sophomore.
Dicker now becomes the seventh pledge in Herman’s 2018 class, which currently ranks No. 17 nationally and No. 3 in the Big 12.
A two-star recruit, Dicker is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 kicker, according to 247Sports.
