After showing interest for some time now, the Texas Longhorns have extended an offer to 2019 Cuero wide receiver Jordan Whittington.

A four-star prospect, Whittington now holds 23 total offers including invitations from Texas A&M, Oregon, Florida, LSU, Nebraska, Ohio State, Stanford and UCLA, among others.
Despite not holding an offer at the time, Whittington named the Longhorns in his top 14 in March after visiting the Forty Acres for junior day.
Essentially a do-it-all talent for Cuero, Whittington accounted for 1,825 yards of total offense and 21 touchdowns, which includes two interceptions returned for scores.
Whittington ranks as the nation’s No. 61 player, No. 15 WR and the No. 6 player in Texas, according to 247Sports.
