Tom Herman’s staff continue their pursuit of out-of-state talent with 2019 Phoenix Pinnacle pro-style quarterback Spencer Rattler picking up a Texas Longhorns offer on Tuesday.

To date, Rattler holds 17 total offers including Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado, among others. Rattler’s offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, Alabama and now Texas have all rolled in throughout the past two weeks.
Rattler now joins four-star Port Neches-Groves quarterback Roschon Johnson as the two 2019 gunslingers currently holding a Texas offer.
As a sophomore, Rattler completed 220-of-352 attempts for 2,893 yards ad 29 touchdowns, along with 10 interceptions.
At 6’1, 175 pounds, Rattler ranks as 2019’s No. 60 player, No. 3 pro-style quarterback and the No. 1 player in Arizona, according to 247Sports.
