Texas set to host several key recruits for Friday’s 'Stars at Night' event

Numerous priority prospects will be in attendance, including targets from the 2018, 2019 and 2020 classes

If there’s one thing we’ve learned throughout the early portion of Tom Herman’s tenure in Austin, it’s that the man knows how to host a major recruiting event. The Texas Longhorns’ junior days, spring game and recent ‘Heat Wave’ pool party all drew raving reviews from seemingly countless recruits.

Herman and his staff will have another opportunity to impress again today as Friday will feature Texas’ ‘Stars at Night’ recruiting event and once again, a small army of the best talent in their respective classes will be on hand.

Caden Sterns and Al’vonte Woodard will be among those on hand representing Texas as a pair of four-star pledges, along with a variety of key Texas recruits that are currently projected to suit up in burnt orange when it’s all said and done.

As it stands, upwards of 40 recruits will flock to the Forty Acres on Friday.
